Corpus

• A Corpus is a defined and named set of documents. A Corpus may include documents from just a single authority or collection, or it may include many collections together.

  Search functions require a Corpus argument in the URL path to determine which documents will be considered. Many corpora are pre-defined. Additional corpora can be added on a case-by-case basis. In some cases it is preferable to add a Refinement to the search rather than define a new Corpus.

  id

  A unique readable identifier.

  displayName

  A name which is suitable for display to a user.
